London cyclists

This extreme cuclist is one of the 65.000 people who took part in the "Mayor of London's Skyride".
London isn't ideal for cyclists. So for the event people could ride their bikes around the capital. Maybe this man wanted to see into the Queen's bedroom as he cycled past Buckingham Palace!

Anne Hathaway is not a typical Hollywood actress. She doesn't live in Los Angeles like most stars, because she doesn't like the lifestyle there.

THE WHITE QUEEN
This month, Anne is in the 3-D film Alice in Wonderland. She plays the White Queen in the Disney adaptation of the classic English book by Lewis Carroll.
The actress became famous in the 2001 film The Princess Diaries. But she didn't only want be in children's films. So she changed direction and toll more serious roles . She was in dramas like Brokebak Mountain and Rachel Getting Married.
So her new role as the White Queen in Alice in Wonderland is a surprise retum to children's films!


PALE AND PURE
Anne was born in New York, and wanted to be a nun when she was a child. She has been to the Vatican in Rome, Italy.
Hollywood is very competitive, she is also a vegetarian and does charity work, inspired by her friend Angelina Jolie. The two actresses went to Combodia together. While she was there, Anne realized how lucky she is.

Anne also comes from a privileged family, and thinks that education is very important. She is also a big fan of British actresses Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet.

But did you know that there was another famous Anne Hathaway? She was born in 1556, and was the wife of William Shakespeare! With a name like that, actress Anne Hathaway knew that becoming famous was her destiny!
